Antiquorum : Vente du 17 mars à Genève

Antiquorum a encore une fois tenu une vente aux enchères exceptionnelle « Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces » le 17 mars dernier à l’Hotel Richemond de Genève, en totalisant un résultat de 6,852,962 CHF (5,606,742 €).

La vente, ayant attirée 434 enregistrements via le net et des enchérisseurs venant du monde entier : la plupart de Russie, du Japon,de Hong Kong, de Chine, d’Allemagne et de Suisse.

Les pièces majeures ont atteint un chiffre impressionnant : 80% de lots vendus et 137% par valeur.

A noter plus particulièrement le lot 541 : A. Lange & Sohne Pour le Mérite Tourbillon, une édition limitée en or gris avec un tourbillon et 36 heures de réserve de marche, a provoqué une compétition féroce parmi les enchérisseurs, pour atteindre 338,500 CHF (277,073 €), un des plus prestigieux et recherché  modèle produit par Lange & Sohne.

Tout comme le lot 159, le Gyrotourbillon 2 de Jaeger Lecoultre en platine qui atteint 230,500 CHF (188,683 €).

Les pièces Patek Philippe ont également attiré l’attention, notamment avec  l’ensemble de 4 montres joaillerie « Gondolo Cabriolet Butterflies, ref. 5099 », lot 121, vendu pour 242,500 CHF (198,335 €), tandis que le lot 549, la Pendulette Dome Echassiers dans les Papyrus, ref. 1379, atteignait 116,500 CHF (95,282 €).

La partie Rolex Vintage a également vu de remarquables résultats le lot 534 le Daytona Paul Newman Ref. 6263 avec lunette tropicale, a provoqué une bataille d’enchères parmi 8 téléphones, pour finalement être remportée par un acheteur en salle pour la somme de 212,500 CHF (173,916 €) soit deux fois son estimation haute.

Quant au lot 530, la Rolex Day-Date en platine, Ref. 1831 avec cadran stella, série limitée à 8 exemplaires (5/8), s’est vendue à 206,500 CHF (169,025 €), un record mondial pour cette référence, soit 6 fois son estimation haute.
