Nouvelle Lange 1 chez Lange & Söhne

Lange & Söhne propose une nouvelle interprétation de sa pièce maîtresse, la Lange 1, en version grande date, donc avec une ouverture de date à deux guichets (dizaines et unités).

Outre cette nouvelle complication, la manufacture de Glashütte en a profité pour aplanir le mouvement, qui s’insère à présent dans un boîtier de 8,8 mm d’épaisseur, pour un diamètre de 40,9 mm, en or (rose ou jaune) ou en platine.

Malgré la faible épaisseur du mouvement (4,7 mm), la nouvelle Lange 1 offre 72 heures de réserve de marche grâce à un grand barillet doté d’un long ressort de montage.

On doit la précision du calibre à remontage manuel L095.1 au spiral de balancier développé et produit par la manufacture – un composant que seul un petit nombre de manufactures a la capacité technique de fabriquer, le plus souvent au profit de sous-traitants externes type Nivarox, Parmigiani Fleurier, Sigatech, Technotime ou bien évidemment le Groupe Swatch.

Comme d’habitude chez Lange & Söhne, la recherche de l’équilibre esthétique parfait prévaut. La Grande Date a à ce titre été placée très haut dans le cadran, entre 1h et 2h, afin de laisser toute latitude à la réserve de marche pour se déployer. L’absence d’échelle pour cette dernière lui confère une esthétique aérienne et isolée dans le dessin de la pièce, alors que les Heures/Minutes et les Secondes s’associent naturellement au sein de leurs cadrans gradués qui viennent se frôler.

Une pièce particulièrement réussie qui s’insérera parfaitement dans une collection qui l’est tout autant.
