Dernier vol de la saison pour la patrouille Breitling

C'est sur la base aérienne 102 de Dijon que les sept Albatros de la Breitling Jet Team ont sorti une dernière fois leur train d'atterrissage, la semaine dernière. Ils concluaient ainsi un tour de shows aériens de 11 mois et de 44.000 kilomètres, soit la circonférence de la Terre !

La Breitling Jet Team a une particularité : c'est la seule patrouille privée du monde. Sa vocation : porter au loin les couleurs de la marque au B ailé. Cette saison s'est exportée particulièrement loin puisque, pour la première fois, c'est l'Asie qui accueillit la plupart de ses représentations : Russie, Chine, Japon, Hong-Kong, etc.

Habituée des shows les plus incroyables, qui n'ont rien à envier à ceux de la Patrouille de France, l'équipe a néanmoins foulé cette année des tarmacs chargés d'histoire, comme ceux d'Hiroshima ou de Fukushima.

L'Emergency II en phase d'approche

Thedy Schneider, président de Breitling, était présent pour accueillir les pilotes. A cette occasion, il a confirmé l'imminence de l'Emergency II : la pièce, actuellement en tests finaux au Canada, devrait arriver en boutique au dernier trimestre de l'année.

La Breitling Jet Team, elle, restera en terres européennes en 2014. L'année suivante devrait à nouveau la voir repartir au-delà des mers. Le continent américain ? L'un des seuls qui n'ait pas encore été visité par la patrouille...
